Fat Freddy’s Drop – Razor
Wellington, New Zealand’s Fat Freddy’s Drop, the internationally best-selling dub/reggae/r&b/soul/rock group, is set for the release of its fourth studio album, BAYS, end of October. The seven-piece group recorded the new LP at their own BAYS Studio (from which the album gets its name), a former HMV vinyl pressing plant in Kilbirnie, Wellington – soundcloud

Sonzeira – The Mystery Of Man (Rainer Trueby & Corrado Bucci Present Truccy Remix)
This remix from Rainer Trueby & Corrado Bucci aka Truccy arrived a little too late to make it on the album so Brownswood shared it in the form of a free download.

Deep Tenor City – Oba (Opolopo remix)
Production duo Dan Stillit and Oli Savill (collectively, Deep Tenor City) brought together a wide group of the most accomplished (some Grammy- nominated) artists from the worlds of Jazz, Latin. Fusion, Funk and Afro-beat, from London, New York and Miami. The centrepiece “Oba” track, recorded in the winter months of 2003, is a complex and percussion-rich slice of glorious afro-cuban jazz fusion, is only now seeing the light of day on BBE records.

Calibro 35 – Bandits on Mars
Calibro 35 started back in 2007 when Grammy award candidate, producer Tommaso Colliva (Muse, Franz Ferdinand), invited some of the best musicians from the Italian indie scene to record some Italian golden age soundtracks. Music by Calibro 35 has been used on Dr.Dre hip hop album of the year “Compton” (“One Shot One Kill feat Snoop Dog”) and by Jay-Z (“Picasso Baby”), Child of Lov & Damon Albarn (“One Day”) and hip hop supergroup Demigodz (“The Summer Of Sam”) – bandcamp
